Tom has over thirty years of experience in the securities industry.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and began his career as an
equity research analyst and later concentrated on corporate finance
activities such as initial public offerings, private placements,
bridge financings, merger and acquisition advisory work, and
business valuations and fairness opinions. Tom has extensive
financing experience with emerging companies in industries such
as medical devices, manufacturing, software, electronics and
telecommunications.
Tom’s background includes Managing Director of Craig-Hallum
Capital Group LLC, Managing Director of Manchester Financial
Group, LLC, Senior Vice President of Dougherty Summit Securities,
Founder of Investment Directions, Inc., and Senior Vice President
and Technology Research Analyst for Piper, Jaffray & Hopwood.
Tom graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in
Finance. He is a member of the
CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Minnesota. He has authored
a number of articles, spoken at conferences for a variety of
organizations and testified as an expert witness in a number
of court cases.

Randy has over twenty-five years of financing and acquisitions
experience. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and began his
investment career as an equity research analyst and later concentrated
on corporate finance activities such as initial public offerings,
private equity and debt placements, follow-on offerings and merger
and acquisition advisory work including valuations and fairness
opinions for emerging technology and medical technology companies.
He also has private company operating, finance and corporate
development experience.
Randy’s background includes Investment Banking with Craig-Hallum,
Inc. and John Kinnard & Company, Finance and Acquisitions
for Vomela Specialty Company, Asset-Based and Commercial Lending
for Norwest Corporation and Private Debt and Portfolio Management
with Washington Square Capital.
Randy graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a B.A.
in Finance and has an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota.
He is a past President and current member of the CFA Society
of Minnesota and has been involved in the Council of Growing
Companies, the Collaborative, the Minnesota Seed Capital Network
and the Minnesota Venture Capital Association.
