Mike joined Oak Ridge Financial in June 2019.
Mike believes in the importance of getting to know his client's situation before proposing a solution. Ultimately, it is crucial for him to know why someone is looking to invest or plan, what their situation is, what their background is, and what their financial goals and priorities are in order to create an effective plan. By taking a conservative approach, Mike works hard to help clients build a strategy that will allow them to obtain their financial goals.
He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's of Science in Economics and is a Certified Financial Planner®. Previously, Mike worked at Northwestern Mutual, Ameriprise Financial (where he received the Circle of Success Award 2 years in a row), and US Bank. He has worked with thousands of people, helping them develop all or part of their financial plans.
When he's at home, Mike likes to spend time with his wife and their young son on walks, at the playground, and at the cabin. In his free time, Mike likes to do all things sports: hockey, soccer, ultimate frisbee, golf, and half marathons.
