Sam Nelson joined Oak Ridge Financial in April 2026.

Sam joins Oak Ridge Financial after four years at Edward Jones, where she was a branch office administrator and financial advisor. Before that, she was a reporter for The Bismarck Tribune in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Sam joined Oak Ridge Financial because she believes in the power of a client-centered experience and values providing high-level support to leaders.

She earned a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri and holds Series 7, 66, and MN Life and Health Insurance certifications.

In her spare time, Sam enjoys reading, going to the movies, and finding the best restaurant patios in the summer.
